Computer Accounts

North Seattle students, faculty, and staff have two required computer accounts and one optional computer account. These accounts allow you to access resources, software, and applications that live on different systems.

  • MySeattleColleges Login Account (formerly called EAD account)- this account is needed to access all classroom and lab computers and is automatically created for you.  This is used to access Seattle Colleges email, Office 365 online, and a growing number of internal applications for staff and faculty.
  • SID/PIN (Student InDentification/personal PIN code)- this account is needed to register for classes (students) or access the Instructor Briefcase and other SCCD Intranet-based services (faculty/staff), and is automatically assigned to you.
  • Google Apps for Education (including gmail).  This is an optional account and is not required for any student, faculty or staff.  Some faculty and some students use Google Apps  in conjunction with their courses, including using Google documents to submit assignments. To get access to Google Apps, please contact us via email at  ITHelpDesk@seattlecolleges.edu or via phone at: 206-934-3630 or go in person to the Help Desk (Room IB3303) for assistance. IT staff will provide you with the login information you will need.
